Important Information About Oxygen Concentrator Use
What is Oxygen Concentrator?
The air we breathe in the atmosphere contains 21% oxygen (O2), 78% nitrogen (N2), 0.9% argon (Ar) and 0.1% other gases.
Oxygen concentrator devices separate the gases in the ambient air with the system we call molecular sieve and produce oxygen with a purity of 95% (± 3).
Oxygen concentrators can be produced, as well as devices that provide oxygen gas suitable for human health, which are used for the treatment of COPD and similar chronic respiratory diseases.
Oxygen concentrators are used at home or in the hospital, in the treatment of many respiratory diseases. These devices can be used alone or together with several different devices at the same time.
DEVICE MAINTENANCE
If you prefer an experienced technical service for device maintenance, your device's filters are changed, valves and fans are cleaned, engine maintenance is performed, the oxygen output rate is determined, pressure settings are checked, the interior is disinfected, and possible malfunctions are detected and precautionary measures are taken.
I recommend that you inquire about the TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) document of the technical service you prefer. The company must present this document when you request it. TSE is a government agency and one of its duties is to inspect whether the companies providing services work in accordance with certain standards and to check their compliance with the standards. It gives documents to companies that meet the criteria. Please do not choose companies that do not have TSE certificate, sufficient experience and technical infrastructure. Remember, such a choice can harm you financially and morally.
“Recommended periodic maintenance is quarterly.”
If you regularly maintain the oxygen concentrator, you will avoid most risky situations.
